Day 1: Arrival in Bhubaneswar
Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. Later, begin your temple tour of Bhubaneswar visiting the iconic Lingaraj Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Rajarani Temple, and Parashurameswar Temple. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Bhubaneswar – Dhauli – Pipli – Puri
After breakfast, drive to Puri. En route, visit the Peace Pagoda at Dhauli, a significant site of Ashoka’s transformation after the Kalinga War. Continue to Pipli village, famous for its vibrant appliqué handicrafts. Upon arrival in Puri, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, attend the Sandhya Aarti (evening ritual) at Jagannath Temple. Overnight stay in Puri.
Day 3: Puri – Konark – Puri
Early morning visit to Jagannath Temple for darshan (non-Hindus not allowed inside). Return to hotel for breakfast. Later, take a half-day excursion to Konark to witness the magnificent Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. En route, relax at Chandrabhaga Beach. Return to Puri for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Puri – Chilika Lake – Puri
After breakfast, proceed to Satapada at Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon. Enjoy a boat ride to see the Irrawaddy dolphins and explore the sea mouth area where the lake meets the Bay of Bengal. Return to Puri and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Puri.
Day 5: Puri – Bhubaneswar
After breakfast, drive back to Bhubaneswar. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Visit the Tribal Museum and Odisha State Museum (if time permits) and enjoy some free time for shopping or local food tasting. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 6: Departure from Bhubaneswar
