The Deoriatal & Chandrashila Trek is a 5-day scenic and spiritual adventure through the heart of Uttarakhand’s Garhwal Himalayas. Starting from Sari Village, you’ll trek to the serene Deoriatal Lake, famous for its mirror-like reflections of the snow-capped Chaukhamba peaks. The journey continues to Chopta, known as the “Mini Switzerland of India,” followed by a trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and finally to the Chandrashila summit offering breathtaking 360° views of majestic Himalayan ranges. Ideal for beginners and nature lovers, this trek blends natural beauty, spiritual energy, and adventure in one unforgettable experience.

Day 1: Arrival at Haridwar – Transfer to Sari Village (Drive 200 km / 7-8 hrs)

Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station, you will be received by our representative and driven to Sari village, a scenic village in Rudraprayag district, where you’ll check into your guesthouse and relax amid the peaceful mountain views.

Day 2: Trek from Sari Village to Deoriatal (2.3 km / 1.5 hrs trek)

After breakfast, begin the short but scenic trek to Deoriatal, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by forests and with reflections of snow-covered peaks like Chaukhamba; enjoy sunset views, dinner, and an overnight stay in cozy tents.

Day 3: Trek back to Sari – Drive to Chopta (30 km / 1.5 hrs)

Wake up to a sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, then trek back to Sari, and drive to Chopta, also known as the Mini Switzerland of India; check into a cozy eco-resort and rest for the night.

Day 4: Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila (10 km round trip)

Begin early for the moderate trek to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and continue further to Chandrashila Peak for a 360-degree panoramic view of Himalayan giants like Nanda Devi, Kedarnath, and Trishul; return to Chopta by evening.

Day 5: Chopta – Rishikesh – Haridwar (Drive 200 km / 7-8 hrs)

After breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh for a short Ganga ghat visit or café stop, and continue to Haridwar for your onward journey with unforgettable memories.
