From walking through the Horton Plains National Park while watching various rare wildlife species to the Holy Adams Peak which is a sacred belief of 4 major religions of Sri Lanka, this short tour will surely give you the glimpses of both the places. In this short trip we will explore the best natural spot in Sri Lanka by spotting the endemic fauna like different species of birds, Sambar Dear, Purple- Faced Langur etc. and observe different types flora including Common Gorse, Rhododendron, cloud forest and grasslands. This trip has been designed in such a way that will take you through the Sri Lankan spiritual history and the abundance of the beautiful nature of the country.
Day 1: Arrival at Colombo – Nuwara Eliya (4:55 Hrs & 174 Kms approx.)
Upon arrival at Colombo airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transfer directly to Nuwara Eliya, a Sri Lankan tea country hills also known to be one of the best hilly area. This area is full of migrant birds species of flycatchers and songbirds etc. Post Check-in, rest of the day is free for leisure and you can enjoy the natural beauty of place. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Nuwara Eliya – Nallathanniya (02:18 Hrs – 72 Kms approx.)
In the morning, after enjoying our breakfast we will start our guided journey by visiting Horton Plain National Park which is an ideal place of hiking also, here you will see few must visit spots. Also being a habitat of Dwarf Chameleon this National Park has enclosed the various unseen species like Indian Blue Robin, Zitting Cisticola, Pacific Swallow, Mountain Hawk Eagle, Crested Goshawk etc. Beautiful view from the most famous spot The Worlds End will surely give you breath taking lifetime experience at this extremely diverse National Park situated in Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. Post visiting National Park, we take a relaxing drive to Nallathanniya. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Nallathanniya
This is the day of viewing sunrise from the top of the Adam’s Peak, in order to reach on top we will start hiking with a highly experienced guide from the midnight only. While hiking we will feel the spiritual side of Sri Lanka which itself make this journey more interesting and memorable. This holy peak has a spiritual belief of four religions including the Hindu, the Christian, the Muslim and the Buddhism Finally the mesmerizing view and divine rays at the top will surely give you intense feeling of worth visiting the peak. Post visiting, we will transfer directly to Colombo for your return Journey.
