Among four sacred places of Buddhism, Lumbini is a place where Lord Buddha was born and is one of the most visited tourist place in Nepal. . Pilgrimage significance of this holy place can be easily understood by the fact that the one who are a believer of Buddhism culture want to visit here once in their lifetime. During this trip we will take you through the every important place which is associated with the Lord Buddha and the Buddhist culture including place where Lord Buddha was born and various other temples, monuments and other places.
Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu-Lumbini
Once you arrived at Kathmandu, our representative will welcome and assist you to domestic airport to take a flight to Bhairahawa. Post reaching Bhairahawa, you will meet and greeted by our representative and drive down comfortably to Lumbini which is just 45 minutes’ drive approx. Take a short refreshment post check-in and start sightseeing with a guided tour of Lumbini. We will witness some most sacred places like Maya Devi Temple which is the UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is believed that Lord Buddha was born here. We will also visit Tree Queen Maya under which Lord Buddha was given birth, Puskarni Pond, King Ashoka Pillar, Eternal Peace Flame. There are various temples built by Germany, France, Thailand, Korea, Sri Lanka and Japan which depicts the significance and pilgrimage value of Lumbini. Later we will return to hotel and enjoy rest of the day trying local food and capturing the moments in camera.
Day 2: Lumbini – Kathmandu
Today post breakfast we will end our journey with lot of wonderful memories. Will return to Kathmandu following our pre-defined schedule for our onward journey.
Day 3: Nagarkot – Katmandu ((01:20 hrs & 28 Kms approx)
This is the final day of your adventurous tour. Early in the morning, watch the beautiful sunrise and scenery of Himalayas. If the weather conditions are good then you could view the great mountain groups including Mt. Everest. In the afternoon, Post checkout we will take a drive to Kathmandu for your onward journey.
