Day 1: Arrival in Leh
Upon arrival at Leh Airport you will meet our representative and transferred to the Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. Evening Visit to Leh Palace the palace holds a matchless aura within its that is enough to please the visitors. Constructed in the 17th Century, the foundation of this palace was laid down by the founder of the Namgyal Dynasty, Tsewang Namgyal, but it was Sengge Namgyal who completed its construction . We will also visit Shanti Stupa. Dinner and overnight stay at leh.
Day 2: Leh: excursion to Khardungla & Alchi (06 hrs approx.)
Post breakfast you starts with visiting Khardungla Pass (5500mtrs) the highest motor able road in the world. Post lunch visit Alchi Monastery or Alchi Gompa (monastery and temple complex) lies about 65 km from Leh on the banks of the Indus River. Later we will visit Magnetic Hill a place where the layout of the surrounding land produces an optical illusion, making a slight downhill slope appear to be an uphill slope. We will also witness Sangam and hall of fame on bike. Dinner and overnight stay at leh.
Day3: Leh – Pangong (220KMS / 5HRS approx.)
Today we will be taking a tour of Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. The long easy ascent takes you to Changla pass through its windy roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla Pass for a quick photograph session and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax for a cup of tea. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m).This famous blue Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDER”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Overnight stay at camp in Pangong
Day 4: Pangong – Leh (220KMS / 5HRS approx.)
Enjoy your breakfast in the morning and later drive down to Leh and on the way visit Thiksey monastery Located in the Eastern region of Leh, Thiksey Monastery is one of the most beautiful Tibetan Buddhist style monasteries in India. Known to be the largest Tibetan monastery in Ladakh, Thiksey monastery houses several stupas, statues and other Buddhist artefacts in its 12 storey structure. There are various sections which you can visit in the monastery, each of which has a distinct style of architecture, we shall also visit Sindhu Ghat. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 5: Leh Departure
In the morning, enjoy your breakfast and we will transfer you to airport with lots of memories.
