Day 1: Arrival In Bagdogra / Gangtok (124 kms 4 hours approx.)
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, drive to Gangtok 124 kms 4 hours approx. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Gangtok
After breakfast, we will take an excursion to Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir. Evening is free for leisure. Over night stay at hotel. If you want to visit the Nathula Pass (the Indo-China border), you have to inform us in advance. The permit costs an additional Rs.3000 per vehicle (subject to change as per goverment ) (the pass is closed on Mondays).
Later drive back to the Gangtok. In the evening, you can go for local sightseeing, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok – Darjeeling (Drive 98kms / 4hrs approx.)
Today post breakfast half day sightseeing in Gangtok visiting Bakthang Waterfall, Flower Show, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Saturday & Sunday), Cottage Industry (Closed on Saturday & Sunday).Afternoon transfer to Darjeeling. 4 hours approx. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Darjeeling
Early morning visit Tiger Hillyou will leave for Tiger Hill to see the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Return to the hotel, have breakfast, and get ready to visit the major attractions of Darjeeling. After breakfast visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway (Ticket on direct payment), Tenzing & Gumbu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate (outer view), Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Darjeeling Departure
In the morning, post check-out, you will be transferred to Bagdogra airport for your onward journey
