Experience Glamping in Sri Lanka Whale Watching and Safari (2N/3D)

From sailing through the blue ocean to the narrow way of a jungle, this tour has a key feature which will show you the largest animal on earth and largest animal on land i.e. Blue Whale and a wild Elephant and other wild animals. We will take you through every possible spots where there are highest probability to spot these two species. Marissa’s ocean is ideal to spot blue whales whereas Udawalawe National Park is a perfect land to spot wild elephants and different endangered species of birds. The camping inside the Udawalawe National Park will surely give you a perfect and ultimate chance to capture and understand wildlife more closely.

Day 1: Arrival at Colombo – Mirissa (02:50 Hrs & 170 Kms approx.)

Upon reaching at the Colombo airport, we will welcome and greet you and drive down directly to Marissa. Reroute we shall take a short walking tour of Galle and later check-in to designated hotel. Remaining day is free for leisure and you can enjoy rest of the day roaming around local area and enjoy local foods and shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Mirissa – Udawalawe National Park

In the morning, post breakfast we will take a boat ride to spot Blue Whale and spend some hours in search of world’s largest animal. In Marissa’s Ocean there are certain designated areas where Blue Whale can be spotted and there are chances to witness Dolphins too. Later we will transfer to Udawalawe National Park for a jeep safari, this national park is very popular to have a lot of possibilities to spot Wild Elephant including baby orphan elephants and you will also be able to feed these baby elephant during the designated time. Having being known to be the ideal place for bird watching, this national park has an abundance of numerous species of birds like White-bellied Sea Eagle, Common Kestrel, Shikra, Brown Fish Owl, Western Marsh Harrier, Changeable Hawk Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, Black-shouldered Kite, Black-capped Kingfisher, Blyth’s Pipit, Orange-headed Thrush and Bay-backed Shrike etc. Post safari the new adventure starts with the camping at Udawalawe National Park. A comfortable and safe stay in a camp with all the amenities and facilities will make you understand the world of nature more closely. Enjoy the free time with delicious meals and mesmerizing view.

Day 3: Udawalawe – Colombo (04:15Hrs-160Kms aprox.)

We craft the trip with a belief of giving you the best memories ever throughout your trip, so in the morning after your breakfast, we will again take a wildlife safari and get a chance to see natural habitat and capture some beautiful moments in camera. Here we will end our journey and transfer to Colombo for onward journey.
